Chez Deep, a performance collective founded by Sam Banks, Hari Nef, Alexis Penney, Colin Self and Bailey Stiles, initially formed as a mutant drag house around a series of monthly drag and performance revues conceived for Santos Party Haus in the summer of 2012, after performing together at various nightlife venues during that time, including nights like Normalize, CLUMP and Westgay. Though documentation of that period is sporadic, here are selections of video, flyers and other media from Chez Deep’s first year.

So good

At an after party for BAMart's Ninth Annual Silent Auction (in partnership with The Hole and Paddle8) at The Standard East Village Hotel's Chez André last Tuesday (4.23.13), I was introduced to Chez Deep, a NYC-based drag sisterhood. The five fabulous guys mesmerized with their costuming, lip-syncing and dancing.
